Ruth Castle

Ruth Ann (Field) Castle, 65, of Sciotoville, passed away Friday evening, November 19, 2021, at King’s Daughters Hospital in Ashland, KY, surrounded by her family.  Born on October 6, 1956 in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Jack R. Field and Garnet (Hughes) May.

Ruth Ann was of the Baptist faith and worked in various I.T. positions, retiring from Brighthouse Networks in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Business Analyst in 2016.  When she had spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family, knitting and cross-stitch.

Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Tom Castle; two daughters, Tabetha (Rob) Webster of Enon and Amy (Brian) Trimble of New Lebanon; grandchildren, Thomas Cater, Amanda Miller, Logan Withrow and Dylan Trimble; stepmother, Bonnie Field of Milton, WV; a brother, Jack (Kathy) Field of Raleigh, NC; a stepsister, Sue Mathis of Milton, WV; as well as other nieces, nephews, friend and family.

A service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Rob Krebbs officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
