Robert "Whitey" Davison

January 27, 1936 — October 18, 2020

Robert L. “Whitey” Davison, 84, of New Boston, passed peacefully Sunday, October 18, 2020, in his home.  Born on January 27, 1936, he was a 1954 graduate of Portsmouth High School, retired from Empire Detroit Steel Corporation, owner of Bob’s Auto Sales in New Boston and loved old cars. Bob was a Master Mason at Western Sun Mason Lodge, an U. S. Air Force veteran and attended Rubyville Community Church.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 58 years, Norma Jean Wheeler Davison.  You rarely saw one without the other.

Surviving are his two daughters, Karen Davison Schuman and Kathy Davison Sampson; two very special grandsons, Jonathan Sampson and Jack Sampson, all of Columbus; a sister, Ima Delores Helton of North Kingsville and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22nd, at Rubyville Community Church cemetery with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating.

Memorial gifts may be made to Rubyville Community Church building fund or Heartland Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.
