Paul E. Porter, 83, of Wheelersburg, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday evening, December 23, 2020, surrounded by his family.  Born on March 15, 1937 in Elliott County, KY, he was a son of the late Theodore and Rebecca Skaggs Porter.

Paul was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, who will forever be missed.

Also preceding him in death were a brother, Ellsworth Porter, a sister, Mary Ferguson and great-grandchildren, Luke Bays and Marley Bays.

He attended Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene and Sciotodale Free Will Baptist Church, was a member of Western Sun Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd degree mason.

Paul was a supervisor at Empire-Detroit Steel before becoming co-owner of Colonial Carpet House and later Custom Interiors.

He never knew a stranger and made many friends over the years through his love of antique cars, restoring cars and street rods.  He loved traveling to car shows, especially with his brother-in-law, John Hagen.

Paul accepted Jesus as his Savior while attending Sciotodale Free Will Baptist Church, where he became an active member, serving in many leadership roles.
