Edith Boggs

Edith Pauline Boggs, 86, of Sciotoville, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at SOMC Hospice Center.  Born on December 4, 1934 in Sciotoville, she was a daughter of the late Merdith and Lillian Martin Smith and was a homemaker.

Pauline was a 1952 graduate of Minford High School and was a member of Bonser Run Christian Baptist Church.  She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and her favorite season was Christmas, even buying gifts for strangers.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Randal Boggs, three brothers, Hobert Smith, Merdy Smith and Arnold Smith, a sister, Marrietta Cooper; and grandchildren, Scotty Graham, Brian Boggs, Ethan Boggs and James Steele.

Surviving are her husband, Allie Boggs, five sons, Charles Boggs of Portsmouth, Dave Boggs of Kansas, Ralph (Shari) Boggs of Sciotoville and Harold and Tim Boggs, both of Toledo; four daughters, Lillian Steele of Toledo, Jane Robinson of Bucyrus, Vickie Graham-Howell of Bucyrus and Regina Boggs of California; a sister, Janie Dixon of Butler; an aunt, Charlotte Dunham of Wheelersburg; an uncle, Charles Martin of Wheelersburg; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18th, at the Bonser Run Christian Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Lore officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive guests at the church after 11:00 a.m. on Friday.  Masks will be required, but not furnished by the funeral home.  Social distancing will be observed.  Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.
