Winona Bays-Blevins

Winona E. Bays-Blevins, 78, of New Boston, died Monday, July 16, 2018 at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center.  Born on May 8, 1940 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Thressa Sykes Spry and was a homemaker.

Winona was also preceded in death by her husband, James Blevins, a brother, Paul Spry and a sister, Joyce Murphy.

Surviving are three sons, David Bays, Sam Bays and Delbert Ray Bays; five sisters, Patricia Marsh, Barbara Cooper, Ann Bennett, Faye Lauer and Kay Begley; and four grandchildren.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Matt Hancock officiating.  Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
