Thomas A. Martin, 72, of Wheelersburg, died October 17, 2016, at his residence. Born on April 24, 1944 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Willard and Maxine Hall Martin and a Viet Nam veteran.
Tom is survived by two sons, Brian (Mindy) Martin of Chillicothe and Gregory (Carrie) Martin of Elkins, Arkansas; a stepson, Jamey Heflin of Hamlin, WV, a stepdaughter, Tonya French of Rio Grande, two sisters, Linda (Rodney) Turnbull of Canton and Lisa (Chris) Bromfield of Oviedo, Fla. and four grandchildren, Kinleigh, Kaylee, Savannah and Hershell.
Also preceding him in death was a sister, Judy Strickland.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Military honors will be by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
