Tammy Sue Malott, 62, of Portsmouth passed on at 540 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022 in the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on March 11, 1960 in Olive Hill, KY, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Helen Rowe Callihan.
Tammy is best described as someone with a huge heart, who would open her home to anyone in need. Also known as someone not to be taken lightly, though small in stature, she would not hesitate to take on anyone if she felt they had done her wrong. But what she was most known for was her love for her family. Her love for her family was strong and consistent and it never wavered. Tammy was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Also preceding her in death were her siblings, Roger, Mitchell and Beverly.
Surviving are her husband, Mark Malott; daughters Becky and Heidi Callihan; sons, John (Jessica) Berry and Ryan (Tina) Berry; step children, Robert, Johnny and Heather; a brother, Randy Callihan; a sister, Tamathon Callihan, eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 25th, at Vernon Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
