Sonya Faye Hale, 37, of Greenup County, KY, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, in Greenup County. She was born on February 4, 1978.
Surviving are a son, Braxton Hahn of Hillsboro; a stepson, David K. Rhoden of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Jessica Marie Rhoden of Columbus; her father, Randy (Jackie) Hale of Minford; her mother, Judith Benner Hale of Florida; grandmother, Juanita Hale of West Portsmouth; Braxton’s grandparents, Dale and Jean Peercy of Hillsboro; two brothers, Chris ( Jesse Templeton) Hale of Columbus and Brandon (Valerie) Hale of West Portsmouth; a sister, Roseva (Doug) Hammond of West Portsmouth; and a step-grandson, David J. Rhoden.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the 8th Street Wesleyan Church in West Portsmouth with Pastor Robert Skipper officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at the church after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
