Shirley Ann Bailey , 78, of New Boston, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on April 13, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Joan James Winebrenner, and attended the Meade Road Pentecostal Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Bailey and a brother, Jack Winebrenner. Surviving are a son, Paul (Cindy) Downey of Portsmouth, three daughters, Tammie Hall of Sciotoville, Sheri (Ron) Crabtree of Portsmouth, and Barbi (Tim) Newman of Columbus, 10 grandchildren, Vanessa Downey, Ashley Barton, Tara Boyer, Brittany Crabtree, Cassie Downey, Kayla Crabtree, Alyssa Newman, Alexis Newman, Autumn Newman, and Hayleigh Downey, and 10 great-grandchildren. Shirley loved and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Ronnie Rawlins officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday.
