Shaun David Paxson, 40, of Sciotodale, died Monday, February 23, 2015, at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus after a brief illness. Born on February 15, 1975 in Portsmouth, he was a son of Earl David and Teresa Hatten Paxson of Sciotodale and was a member of the Sixth Street Pentecostal Church of Christ.
Shaun was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Matthew Paxson.
Also surviving are two sisters, Christel (David) Harr of Firebrick, KY and Angela (Evan) Gillilan of Delaware; his maternal grandmother, Irene Parker of Sciotoville; three nephews, Corey Harr, Warren Gillilan and Maxwell “Big Mac” Gillilan and one niece, Kasey Harr.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Gary Shonkwiler and Larry Blevins officiating. Interment will be in Batterson Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
