Sandra L. Fultz, 75, of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the SOMC Hospice Center with her family by her bedside. Born on June 22, 1942, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Coulter and Martha Adams Boyle, Jr. A graduate of Wheelersburg High School in the Class of 1960, she was employed in the customer service center at Walmart for 27 years. One of the original employees to be hired, she formed many important friendships with her co-workers. She also formerly worked as a receptionist for the Girl Scouts-Seal of Ohio, which allowed her to keep an abundant supply of Girl Scout cookies in her freezer much to the delight of visiting grandchildren.
Sandi had a great compassion for all animals, especially dogs, adopting many strays throughout her life and giving them a safe and loving forever home.
Surviving are a son, Tom (Pam) Evans of Jamestown, NC; a daughter, Jennifer Moorhead of Portsmouth; a brother, Coulter (Judy) Boyle III of Birmingham, Ala. and eight grandchildren, Josh Evans, Emily Mungo, Kendal Evans, and Tyler Asbury, all of North Carolina; Alex Duncan of Charleston, SC; and Shannen Moorhead, Valerie Moorhead and Rylee Moorhead, all of Portsmouth.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to Sierra’s Haven of Rosemount.
