Ruth Woodrum

Ruth Colleen Woodrum, 92, of Sciotoville, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.  Born on June 23, 1925 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Wilma Deitz Conklin and was a homemaker.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Harold Woodrum, and two brothers, Carl Leroy Conklin and Boyd Eugene Conklin.

Ruth loved living by the Ohio River all of her life and especially enjoyed the paddlewheel boats as they passed by.

Surviving are a very good friend, Omar, caregiver for both Ruth and Harold, and her good neighbors.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
