Ruth Collins
August 22, 1959 — June 12, 2016
Ruth Ann Collins, age 56, of Wheelersburg, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at home. Born on August 22, 1959, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of Helen Ramey Collins of Wheelersburg and the late Merle Collins.
Ruth was also preceded in death by her son, Korey Collins.
Also surviving are a son, Stephen (Eden) Blair of Washington Court House; six brothers, Mitchel, Merle E., Darryl, Joe, Scott and Adam; three sisters, Chrystal, Amanda and Lori; several nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion, Hank Waring.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in South Webster Cemetery. The family will receive guests at Brant’s in Sciotoville from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday
