Rufus "Junior" Williams
July 24, 1928 — July 1, 2016
Rufus “Junior” Williams, 87, of Slocum Station, died Friday, July 1, 2016, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on July 24, 1928 in Wheelersburg, he was a son of the late Ellis Martin Williams and Dora Olive France Williams and was retired from Detroit Steel Corporation.
Junior was also preceded in death by five brothers, Marvin, Leroy “John”, Leo, Ellis “Babe” and Clifford Williams and three sisters, Shelley E. Tuggle, Elsie Crowe and Betty Jane Williams.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. John Richards officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
