Rosemary Schuler

October 9, 1922 — November 19, 2012

Rosemary Edmisten Schuler, 90, of Liberty Township, formerly of Portsmouth, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati. Mrs. Schuler was preceeded in death by her husband, Robert Schuler, her parents, Edith and Oscar Edmisten, and nine brothers and sisters. Born in South Portsmouth, Kentucky, she lived most of her life in Portsmouth. Rosemary is the loving mother of three sons, Robert (Alice) Schuler of Cincinnati, Charles (Brenda) Schuler of North Carolina, and James Schuler of Liberty Township, and one daughter, Terry Huff of Liberty Township. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Kimberly Kindred, Karen Nopsnyder, Elizabeth Schuler and Sarah Schuler; four grandsons, Joshua Schuler, Brendan Schuler, Alex Schuler, and her beloved Joe Huff; four great grandsons, Kris Foster, Randy Foster, Jacob Foster and Nathan Church, and two great granddaughters, Cheyenne Howe and Elyse Schuler. Mrs. Schuler was a member of the former First United Methodist Church. Rosemary was an inspiration to all. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN PORTSMOUTH with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Portsmouth from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Challenger League Baseball and Hospice of Cincinnati.
