Ronnie Smoot

Ronnie Lee Smoot, 61, of Portsmouth, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at Heartland of Portsmouth. Born on April 9, 1957 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late John William Smoot and Jean Sylvia Kelly Smoot.
Ronnie was a 1975 graduate of Clay High School and an accomplished carpenter.
Surviving are a son, Ronnie Smoot, Jr. of Portsmouth, a sister, Alesia (Steve) Skeens of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Autumn and Ronnie Lee; a niece, Stephanie (John) Zamora and two nephews, Steve (Mandi) Skeens and Nathan (Katie) Skeens.
A service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Justin McGowan officiating.
A gathering will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at Brant’s.
