Ronald Edgar Martin

Ronald Edgar Martin, 82, of Wheelersburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the SOMC Hospice Center.  He was born on October 23, 1940 in Portsmouth, son of the late James and Francis Carter Martin.

Ronnie was a retired member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 577.  He was a member of the 3:16 Ministries Church, loved spending time outdoors and riding four wheelers.  But most of all, he loved his grandchildren very much.

Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Monroe Martin of 59 years; his daughter, Cathy (Scott) Stevens; grandchildren, Cassie Lowe and Corey (Alison) Stevens; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Hattie and Brooklyn, all of Wheelersburg and his sister, Mary Santana of Florida.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Mark Bales officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive guests at BRANT’S from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
