Roger Cooper
March 15, 1952 — January 5, 2017
Roger L. Cooper, I, 64, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, January 5, 2016, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on March 15, 1952, he was a son of the late Sanford and Ida (Fitch) Cooper and former night manager at K-Mart.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sanford Cooper, and two sisters, Irene Cooper and Pat Martin.
Surviving are a son, Roger L. (Nikki) Cooper, II of Sciotoville; a daughter, Tawanna (John) Nichols of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Phyllis Blake of Sciotoville and Doris (David) Blake of Clarksville, TN; and four grandchildren, Tawanna Cooper, Kortney Cooper, Jacob Cooper and Trenton Nichols.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Rick Arthur officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
