Phyllis Shoemaker

Phyllis Louise Shoemaker, 80, of West Portsmouth, died Friday, May 13, 2016, at BridgePort Healthcare Center.  Born on February 28, 1936 in Sciotoville, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Helen Pugh Lowe.

Phyllis was employed with the Portsmouth City Schools for over 35 years and attended Christ’s Community Church.

Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Beverly, a brother, Gene Lowe and sisters Helen “Boots” Purdy and Juanita Flinders.

Surviving is a son, Larry, of West Portsmouth.

A service will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Cemetery.
