Penny Henthorn

Penny Sue (Scaggs) Henthorn, born June 30, 1953, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2025, at the age of 72.

We will remember Penny as a loving sister, wife, mother and especially “Nana” that loved us dearly and made us laugh. Penny’s last few years were physically hard, but she leaned on Jesus relying on one of her favorite verses: Romans 8:26 “…but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words…”. Penny is now pain free in the arms of Jesus and enjoying the hugs from her mother and father Doris and Leonard Scaggs in heaven. Hallelujah!

Surviving Penny is her loving and ever devoted husband, Ronald Henthorn; her three children, Crystal (Vincent) Fatica, Ronald (Kim) Henthorn II, and Martha England; five siblings, Randall Scaggs, Danny Scaggs, Cynthia Ervin, Guy Scaggs, Rebecca Johns, and Angela Harris; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with George Vastine and Rusty Larter officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family invites friends to honor Penny's memory during visitation at Brant’s on Tuesday, September 30th, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
