Pauline Hunter

Pauline Mae Hunter, 91, of Rosemount, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, December 25, at Hill View Assisted Living. Born on May 4, 1921 in Rosemount, she was a daughter of the late Clarence H. and Martha George Miller. Also preceding her in death were her brothers; Fenton Miller, Wesley Miller, Jimmie Miller, Harry Miller, twin brother, Paul Miller, & Don Miller, and sisters; Josie Miller, Marjorie Burt, Mary Hunter, grandchildren; Gary Lee Hunter, Jr., Allison Mae Hunter, and Steven A. Hunter, and the father of her five sons, Roy Lee Hunter.
Surviving are five sons, Gary Lee (Billie Jean) Hunter of London, Robert D. (Sue) Hunter of Columbus, Michael K. (Donna Frabott) Hunter of Columbus, Dr. Jeffrey L. (Robin) Hunter of Columbus, and Mark S. (Virgie) Hunter of Portsmouth, and three sisters, Martha Conley of Sunbury, Virginia Rockwell of Portsmouth, & Carol Coldiron of Columbus.
Pauline is also survived by grandchildren, Kim Conley, Tina Pace, Lance Hunter, Brooke Lombardi, Shane Hunter, Timothy Bilotta, Marshall Lee Hunter, and Chris Kibbey, as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pauline loved her boys and grandchildren, and was a very devoted member of Valley United Methodist Church, where she served in various capacities for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN PORTSMOUTH with Rev. David Cottrell officiating. Interment will be in Rosemount Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Portsmouth from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service.
