Paul Skaggs

Paul Steven Skaggs, 57, of Sciotoville, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe. Born March 31, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona, he was a son of Paul and Nannie Bennett Skaggs. Steve was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Berean Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are a son, Paul Steven Skaggs, Jr. of North Carolina, his mother, Nannie Bennett Skaggs of Portsmouth, a brother, James (Margie) Skaggs of Jackson, two grandsons, Chase and Chandler Skaggs and a niece, Aarin McCarthy of Phoenix. A graveside service was held at Vernon Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion. Arrangements were under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.
