Pastor Fred R. Mann

Pastor Fred R. Mann, 85, went to be with his Lord Friday evening, December 16, 2022, at the SOMC Hospice Center.  Born on April 7, 1937 in Lebanon, TN, he was a son of the late Herbert and Pearl Webber Mann. 

Pastor Mann was a member and former pastor of Berean Baptist Church. 

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Joy Mann, who died in January; a daughter-in-law, Caroline Mann who died in August; four brothers, Samuel Mann, Paul Mann, John Mann and Joseph Mann; and two sisters, Paulona Lewis and Marie Darnell.

Surviving are three sons, Stephen Mann of Wheelersburg, Jeffrey (Maria) Mann of Buchanan, MI and Scott (Meredith) Mann of Gastonia, NC; a brother, Herbert (Fran) Mann of Oviedo, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Evangeline (Dempsy), Isaac (Kacie), Stephanie (Jeremy), Christiana (Phillip), Moriah, Micah, Jocelyn, Lyndelle, Baughan, Brionnah, Raleigh, Ryder and Everly and eight great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23rd, at Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Davenport officiating. 

The family will receive guests at Berean from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to A.B.W.E. or SOMC Hospice. 

Fred donated his body to the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.
