Pamela Sue Mowery (1950 - 2025)

Pamela Sue Mowery left us peacefully on September 7, 2025, at the age of 74. A long-time resident of Sciotoville, Ohio, Pam was known for her nurturing love, deep faith, quick wit, and generosity that knew no bounds.

Caring for her family was her greatest accomplishment and evident by a legacy built through a life of selfless love. Pam was a devoted member of the Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene and was the family's "Coupon Queen”. She could always find a great deal – scouring the aisles at Kroger looking for ways to double or even triple her coupons. She enjoyed working with the public. From her days as an in-store demo rep to selling Home Interiors and Longaberger baskets, she would share her passion for frugality with everyone she knew. In her spare time, she also enjoyed writing poetry.

Pam is reunited in heaven with her husband, Herbert Mowery Sr., her parents, Finton and Wanda Fuller, and her brother, Larry Fuller.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Herbert (Dawn) Mowery Jr., Miranda (Christopher) Hancock, and Benjamin (Kimberly) Mowery; her "adopted" daughter #4, Jill (Jerry) Iery; and her brother, Gary (Carol) Fuller. Pam was a cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren: Caleb, Ella, Karissa, Addison, Chassity, Luke, Logan, Cooper, and Corbin.

Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," was a testament to her strength and faith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Brant Funeral Home, 422 Harding Ave, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662; Visitation: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM; Funeral Service: 1:00 PM. Graveside services will immediately follow at Vernon Cemetery, Wheelersburg, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following organizations that were meaningful to Pam: Potters House Ministries 5409 Winchester Ave, Apartment A Portsmouth, OH 45662 and/or SOMC Hospice Center SOMC Development Foundation 724 8th Street Portsmouth, OH 45662.
