Opal Miller

Opal A. Miller, 87 of Wheelersburg, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the SOMC Hospice Center.  Born on December 24, 1925 in Franklin Furnace, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ruby Winebrenner Arthur and was a retired beautician.  Also preceding her in death were her husband, Roy Miller, a son, Larry Miller, brothers Ray and Ronald Arthur, and a sister, Freda Daniels.  Surviving are two sons, David Miller of New Boston and Wayne (Karen) Miller of Russells Point, a daughter with whom she resided, Donna Miller of Wheelersburg, a brother, Richard (Marie) Arthur of New Albany, three sisters, Evelyn Daniels of Sciotoville, and Darlene (Bennie) Skaggs and Sharon (Dick) Rowe, both of Wheelersburg, a grandson, two great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.  A graveside service will be noon on Monday at Old Wheelersburg Cemetery with Rev. Peter Michael officiating.  The family will receive friends at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 on Monday.
