Norma Garrett
September 12, 1947 — January 26, 2014
Norma Jean Garrett , 66, of Minford, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, in the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on September 12, 1947 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Nora Smith Faulkner, and was a homemaker. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 38 years, Charles James Garrett, brothers, Raymond Greene and Ken Faulkner and a sister, Bonnie Monroe.
Surviving are a son, Steven (Billy) Garrett, daughters, Lisa (Bryan) Hitchcock, Brenda (Rusty) Garrett and Lori (Frankie) Harper, all of Minford; brothers William “Buck” (Vada) Greene of Lorain and Clarence (Bonnie) Faulkner of South Webster; sisters Evelyn (Glen) Mullins of Wakeman and Juanita “Edie” (Glen) Donley of Pedro; and 7 grandchildren, Kyle Hitchcock, Elizabeth Culp, Kaleb Hitchcock, Ryan Waddell, Kyrie Harper, Easton Harper and Laynah Harper.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in Scioto Furnace Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brant’s after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
