Melody Sue Donathan

Melody Sue Donathan, 63, died Saturday night in the Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room.  Born on February 15, 1960 in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Phyllis Ottney Brannon and former office manager for Scioto Water.

Melody was very proud of the fact that she helped local day cares in our area to become established and her highlight with children was owning and operating Busy Bee Day Care for many years.

Surviving are her husband, Jim Donathan; a son, Jonathan (Debbie) Maynard of South Webster; a daughter, Brandy (Heath) Campbell of Minford; a brother, Randy Brannon of Sciotoville; and seven grandchildren; Brooke (Josh) Huninger, Hunter Maynard, McKenna (Tres Spradlin) Lemon, Brock Campbell, Colsen Maynard, Emma Campbell and Jaxon Maynard.

A gathering will be at THE BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
