Mary Myers

Mary F. Myers, 96, of Portsmouth, died Friday, August 27, 2010, at Heartland of Portsmouth. Born on April 21, 1914 in Selbysport, MD, she was a daughter of the late James Blaine and Emma Frazee Frantz. Mary was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Also preceding her in death were her husband, E. E. “Doc” Myers, one daughter, Linda Mosley, three brothers, and four sisters. Surviving are two sons, David (Dorothy) Myers and Steve (Joyce) Myers, all of Portsmouth, one sister, Joyce Skidmore of Oakland, MD, nine grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home in Friendsville, MD. Interment will be in the Addison Cemetery in Addison, PA. The family will receive friends at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home.
