Mark Evans

Mark Anthony Evans, 26, of Portsmouth, died suddenly Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in the SOMC emergency room.  Born on March 16, 1992 in Portsmouth, he was a son of Joseph and Jennifer Roffe Evans of Portsmouth and was a 2011 graduate of Notre Dame High School and Scioto County Joint Vocational School.

Mark was preceded in death his grandparents, Dave and Kathryn Evans and Ralph and Hilda Roffe.

Including Mark’s parents, he also survived by a son, Colton Sawyer Evans, and his mother Bridgett McGlone of Wheelersburg; two brothers, Mathew Evans of Jacksonville, Florida and Brian (Lucia) Evans of Houston, TX and a nephew, Mason Evans.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Joseph Yokum officiating.  Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Donations may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
