Marietta Bradford , 84, of West Portsmouth, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Hempstead Manor. She was born on December 27, 1929 in Kanawha County, WV, a daughter of the late Adolf and Bertha Freeman Steed, and was a homemaker. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Larson Bradford, three brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Dennis Bradford of Lucasville, Melvin (Debbie) Bradford of McDermott, Ronald Bradford of West Portsmouth, Phyllis (Randy) Dailey of McKinney, TX, and Max Bradford of Pikeville, KY, two sisters, Gerry Lambert of TN and Carol McNeil of Sciotoville, 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Tuesday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Max Bradford, officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.
