Marie Riley

Marie Irene Riley, age 97, of Portsmouth, died on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, in the Hill View Health Care Facility.  Born on February 2, 1924 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Helen Cottle Journey and was a retired head cashier.

Marie was also preceded in death by her husband, James William Riley and a daughter, Deatra Pekar.

Surviving are a son, James (Marsha) Riley of Katy, TX and a sister, Patricia Holt of Tampa, FL.

A gathering will be held at Hill View at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
