Mabel Burchett
May 22, 1935 — June 1, 2015
Mabel Marie Burchett, 80, of Quincy, KY, died Monday, June 1, 2015, at the SOMC Hospice House. Born on May 22, 1935 in Proctorville, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lilia Mier. Mabel was a nurse’s aide in the Scioto Memorial Hospital Nursery Department, and was a member of Pine Valley Christian Church in Tollesboro, KY and Lucasville Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Ray J. Burchett, and two nephews, Jeff (Claudia) Burchett of Lucasville and Rick Burchett of West Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Phil Cropper. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to Shriner Children’s Hospital or SOMC Hospice.
