Lou Ann Murphy

LOU ANN MURPHY, 69, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.  Born on October 11, 1954, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late James and Wilma Jean Ramey Reeder and was retired from Lowe’s in Wheelersburg.

Also preceding her in death was a son, Donnie Ray Murphy.

Surviving is her husband of nearing 50 years, Danny Ray Murphy, two daughters, Sarah Porter of Sciotoville and Christine Boehm of Greenup, KY; two sons, Rusty (Cindy) Blevins of Portsmouth and Roger (Becky) Allen of Lucasville; five special grandchildren, Roger Allen, Niya Porter, Andrea Warren, Drake Hall, and Holley Blevins and a soon to be great-grandson, Lucas Ray Allen.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26^th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. 

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
