JUNE WILLIAMS

Loretta June Williams, 82, of Sciotoville, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Monday, May 16, 2016, from her home with her family at her bedside.  Born on February 5, 1934 in Greenup County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Craft Howell and was the best mother EVER.

June was a member of Swauger Valley Free Will Baptist Church, a 1951 graduate of Minford High School and was a member of Wheelersburg Eastern Star.

An exceptional person, she gave all of herself to everyone, and most importantly to her kids and grandkids.  June never met a stranger, was always inviting and affectionate to everyone she met.  Attending to others in their time of need was June’s personal ministry.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Wayne W. Williams, grandchildren, Adam David, Allison Blake and Matthew Blake Williams, and sisters, Barbara Tumbleson and Betty Teeters.

Surviving are her children, Terry David (Ann) Williams of Columbus, Timothy Wayne (Carol) Williams of Eden Park, Todd Matthew (Tracy) Williams of Cincinnati, Tracie Denise (Kevin) Fannin of Minford, Ty Andrew (Laura) Williams of Minford and Thomas Howell (Amy) Williams of Sciotoville; two sisters, Judy (Harve) Bear of Sciotoville and Frances Frasher of Mt. Airy, NC; grandchildren, Jason, Taylor, Kayla, Jeanie, Jeff, Samantha, Sydney, Laci, Luke, Kaci, Tyler, Kirsten, Logan, Mackenzie and Elijah and great-grandchildren,
Dayvaughn, Kayson, Gabriel, Brayden, Joe, Adrianna, Jaida, David, Meighan, Kohen, Ella, Abel and Olivia.

A Celebration of June’s Life will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th, at Union Free Will Baptist Church with Mike Simpson, Ron Parker and Chris Oiler officiating.  Interment will be in South Webster Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation or SOMC Hospice.
