Joseph Estes

Joseph Ellis “Blackie” Estes, 83, of Westerville, OH, died Monday, August 13, 2012 in Columbus, OH. Born on August 27, 1928 in Bryson City, NC, he was a son of the late Ellis and Cora McCracken Estes. Surviving are his wife, Nelma Jean Sayre Estes, one son, Mark E. Estes of Columbus, OH, two daughters, Reva Jo Estes of Jamestown, OH and Tari Lyn Estes Hutchinson of Bloomington, IL, one step daughter Janice Yates of Columbus, OH, sister-in-law Virginia Estes of Bryson City, NC, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service was held at his home on Sunday, August 19, 2012. Arrangements were under the direction of the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville, OH.
