Jonathon Robert Chanti

Jonathon Robert Chanti, aged 69, of Gallipolis, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2025, at the Holzer Medical Center. Born on December 23, 1955, he was the beloved son of the late Ernest Chanti and Barbara Shipley Minouge.

Jonathon was preceded in death by his dear sister, Rose Marie “Roni” Chanti. He is survived by his loving aunt, Sandy Hammond of Portsmouth, and cherished cousins, Tonya (John) Sapp of Fayetteville, NC, and Chad (Robin) Hammond of South Portsmouth, KY, along with their children. He is also survived by his stepmother, Barbara Chanti of Toms River, NJ.

A graveside service to honor Jonathon's life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Scioto Burial Park, with Vivian Wood officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville.
