James Sexton

James E. Sexton, 73, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at home. Born on March 16, 1942 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Donald Edward and Anna Margaret McDaniel Sexton. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Judith Welty Sexton. Surviving are three sons, Michael (Karen) Young, James (Carrie) Young and Durward (Kathy) Chandler, all of Portsmouth; two daughters, Mystery J. Lusk of New York and Maryann (Angelo) Recchia of Eastpointe, MI; one brother, Kim; four sisters, Deb, Pam, Julie and Cheryl; nine grandchildren, which included two special granddaughters, Mandy Pollard and Britney Young and sixteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Peter Michael officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brant’s from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
