Jackie Leon James, 61, of Wheelersburg, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at home. Born on December 14, 1954 in Columbus, he was a son of the late, Strother and Alice Schouster James. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Dorst James; a sister, Lynda King and two brothers, Bill and Everett James. Survivors include a son, Jackie (Shauna Ward) James, Jr. of Stoutsville; a daughter, Jessica (Kris) Dyer of Ashville; two sisters, Wanda Goin of Columbus and Marilyn Hardberger of Ashville; six grandchildren, Rachel Bailey, Kristen Dyer, Dakota Dyer, Chance Dyer, Maddie Sawyer and Brayden Sawyer; and a former wife, Sheila Drake of Ashville. Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
