Ivy Mae Stevens

Ivy Mae Stevens, of Wheelersburg, was born on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:39 pm. to parents Corey and Alison Stevens of Wheelersburg.  Ivy weighed 1 pound 4 ounces and was 10 inches long.   Ivy’s family was blessed with 2 precious days to spend with her in the NICU before she went to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 29, 2024, Ivy experienced being held by mommy and daddy, visited with both sets of grandparents, was baptized, and even listened while mommy read her a book.  Big sister Hattie received a special bear from Ivy to remember her by and special handprints of the sisters were made.  Ivy is loved deeply by her parents, big sister, grandparents, great-grandma, aunts, uncles, and her eight big cousins.  Her family will carry her forever in their hearts.

Alison and Ivy received exceptional care from kind doctors and nurses at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.  The family extends their gratitude to the entire care team.  

In our mourning, we give thanks to God for the gift of Ivy Mae.  As Psalm 139 reminds us, Ivy was “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
