Gregory Weddington

Gregory “Bub” Weddington, of Pekin, Illinois, formerly of Wheelersburg, died Thursday evening in Peoria, Illinois. Born on October 13, 1985, he was a son of Gregory and Regina Shamhart Weddington, and was the general manager of Papa Johns in Peroia.
Bub was a 2004 graduate of East High School and will be remembered for his passion of music and his love for his family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Bernis and Margie Weddington and Roger and Zelma Shamhart.
Surviving are a son, Wyatt Wayne Weddington of Westerville; his mother, Reginia (Steve) King of Pekin; his father, Greg (Kim) Weddington of Piketon; a sister, Lucretia (Nick) Shepherd of Wheelersburg; and his girlfriend, Tiffany Braman of Pekin.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Ryan Brown officiating. Interment will be in South Webster Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
