Gene Winters

Duard Eugene Winters, 92, of Rosemount, died Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Rosemount Pavilion.  Born on July 14, 1929 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late George and Ethel Caudill Winters, was a retired equipment supervisor for CSX Railroad, and was a United States Army veteran.

Also preceding Gene in death were his wife, Marcella Winters, who died in 2015, and a sister, Irene Winters Davis.

Surviving are a son, Jay (Cathy) Winters of Rosemount, a daughter, Barbara Fox of West Portsmouth and three grandchildren, Rachel Wilson, Joseph Winters and Chelsea Winters.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 27th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.  Interment will be in Wheelersburg Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

The flags on the avenue, along with the U. S. Army flag, will fly in honor of veteran Gene Winters.
