Gary Layher
September 22, 1947 — August 25, 2021
Gary Lee Layher, 73, of Wheelersburg, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on September 22, 1947 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Everett and Goldie Triggs Layher and was a retired custodian for the Scioto County Court House with 30 years of service.
Also preceding him in death were a brother, James Layher, and two sisters, Charlotte Layher and Caroline Layher.
Surviving are a brother, Charles (Rhonda) Layher; a sister, Eileen Mustain, and a sister-in-law, Sharon Layher, all of Wheelersburg.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Scioto Furnace Cemetery with Ronnie Rawlins officiating.
The family will receive guests at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The family requests that masks be worn for the visitation.
