Evan Myers

Evan Wade Myers, 58, of West Portsmouth, is safe and pain free in the arms of our Lord. Evan died Friday, December 24th, at his residence. Born May 8, 1952 in Portsmouth, he was the fourth son of the late Homer Allen and Helen Dorothy Lauth Myers, and was a member of IBEW Local 575. Surviving are a daughter, Valerie Truitt, 3 grandchildren, 4 brothers, Alan Jay of Portsmouth, James Roger of New Boston, Stephen Lee of Columbus and Robert Craig (Charlene) of Lucasville; 3 sisters, Marcia Joan (Bill) Tipton of Stout, Carol Lynn (Steve) Warner of West Portsmouth and Marie Ann (Rick) Ray of Columbus, an aunt, Rosemary Hughes of KY and several nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly. A gathering will be at the convenience of the family with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the IBEW Local 575 Retiree’s Fund, PO Box 1544, Portsmouth, OH 45662. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brant Funeral Service in Portsmouth.
