Ernest Thomas, Sr.

Ernest William Thomas, Sr., 72, of New Boston, died Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Southern Ohio Medical Center.  Born on July 27, 1948 in Michigan, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary Sanford Thomas and was manager of the former American Restaurant for many years.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Judy Thomas, a son, Luke Thomas and a sister, Susan Thomas.

Surviving are a son, Ernest William Thomas, Jr. of Perkinston, MS; three daughter, Julie Thomas of Wheelersburg and Cindy Piatt and Tracy Henderson, both of Minford; two brothers, Charles Thomas of Minford and Lonnie Craft of South Webster; three sisters, Teresa (Steve) Nix of Sciotoville, Tina (John) Shortridge of Franklin Furnace and Mary Lou Moore of Stockdale; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Tristan, Jordan, Amber, Arika, Brook, Lindsay, April, Mary Beth, Tristan and Andrew; and many great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
