Emily Huston
January 31, 1931 — August 17, 2017
Emily Huston, 86, of West Jefferson, died peacefully at home with her family by her bedside on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Born on January 31, 1931 in Sciotoville, she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Ella Shope Delawder. Emily was a former rural route carrier for the United State Postal Service.
Surviving are her husband, Carl R. Huston; two sons, Ron Huston and Larry Huston; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the Sunset Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 21st with Pastor Tim Throckmorton officiating. A procession will leave the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
