Doris Jean Rivers, 74, of Portsmouth, died on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. Born on March 19, 1938 in Isonville, KY, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Viola Sparks Ferguson and was a former employee of Sears. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, John Willis Ferguson, Maynard Ferguson and Richard Ferguson, and a sister, Ruth Lore. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Linda Rivers of Sciotodale. Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.
