Dewey Lewis

Dewey Martin Lewis, 76, of Quincy, KY, died Monday, December 27, 2010, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on September 17, 1934 in Tannery, KY, he was a son of the late Arthur G. and Cynthia West Lewis. Also preceding him in death were four brothers, John Wiley, Mose Wiley, Bob Wiley and Otha Lewis, and three sisters, Sarah Jane Rowland, Margaret Corns and Leona Lewis. Surviving is his wife, Violet Hodge Lewis. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. George Vastine officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Portsmouth from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
