Demetrius Henderson, Sr.

Demetrius L. Henderson, Sr., 36, of Portsmouth, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born on August 29, 1979 in Akron, a son of the late Cynthia Henderson.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Jenkins Henderson; one son, Demetrius L. Henderson, Jr. of Akron; one daughter, Rihanna Henderson at home; his grandmother, Willie Dean Henderson of Akron; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rick and Liz Jenkins of West Portsmouth; and two brothers-in-law, Dustin of West Portsmouth and Jeremy (Jess) Jenkins of Sandusky.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21st, at the Christ Sanctuary in Sciotoville with Pastor Steve Phipps officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
