Delores Essman, 87, died on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. Born on September 10, 1936, in Wheelersburg, she was a daughter of the late Denver and Marie Clark Hacker and was a homemaker.
Delores was a 1954 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church
Also preceding her in death were her husband, William Francis Essman and five brothers, Paul Hacker, Don Hacker, Dale Hacker, Denver Hacker, Jr. and John Hacker.
Surviving are two sons, W. Scott (Donna) Essman of Wadsworth and Stephen (Lori) Essman of Lawrenceburg, IN; three daughters, Sharon (C.R.) Barclay of Columbus, Susan Marie (Matt) Mitchell of Casper, WY and Shawna (Robert) Chargo of Gahanna; a brother, Doug (Pam) Hacker of Springboro; a sister, Debra (Lloyd) Cummings of Sciotoville; six grandchildren, Ashley, James, Heather, Corrine, Caylee and Audrey; six great-grandchildren, Annie, Henry, Lukas, Darby, Addie and Evie and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6th at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Smith as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
