Cynthia Lou Holsinger, 66, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at home, with her family by her side.  Born on September 1, 1956, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Locke Thurman.

Cindy was a 1974 graduate of Clay High School, a member of Berean Baptist Church and was previously employed at Dr. Aaron Adams office and Hill View Retirement Center.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Luke Holsinger; a brother, Gary Thurman, and a sister, Judy Sayne.

Surviving are her sister, Connie (Terry) Evans of Columbus; a brother-in-law, Lonnie Sayne of Rosemount; four nieces, Crystal Thurman, Jenny (John Ortiz) Nethers, Lori (Don) Howard and Stephanie (Bryan) Nibert and a nephew, Justin (Libby) Evans and several great nieces and great nephews, Abby Howard, Aly Floyd, Jenna Nethers, Jared Nethers, Travis Carter, Gregory Ozier, Chloe Ortiz, Ella Nibert, Avery Nibert, Annabell Evans and Harper Evans.

A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18th, at the Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Mann officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
